‘La Staffa’ and ‘Rincrocca’ acclaimed by the Slow Wine Guide 2018

The Slow Wine Guide 2018 acclaimed the Verdicchio wines of La Staffa. The guide of wines most sold in Italy, which will be presented officially in October, has released the list of winners of the annual prizes. And for the Verdicchio of Riccardo Baldi there is a double surprise.

Rincrocca 2015 and Slow Wine…

The Castelli di Jesi Vedicchio DOCg Riserva Classico ‘Rincrocca’ 2015 has obtained the coveted recognition of ‘Vino Slow’. This is the prize presented each year to the best Italian wines capable of distilling the identity of their territory of origin into a glass.

The top wine of La Staffa, Il Verdicchio ‘Rincrocca’ is produced by grapes cultivated in a vineyard planted in 1972 which is found in Contrada Castellaretta which even today produces large and compact grapes of the highest quality (see the wine card).

…and La Staffa is the Everyday Wine

The Slow Wine Guide 2018 has awarded the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico Superiore ‘La Staffa’ 2016 the title of ‘Everyday Wine’. The Everyday Wines of Slow Wine are the Italian wines of the highest quality that can be bought for less than 10 euro (see the wine card). This confirms the great relationship between quality and price represented by the wines of La Staffa.

The Slow Wine awards will be given on the 14th October 2018 in Montecatini Terme, where there will be a great tasting event open to the public inside the Baths of Tettuccio.
